Location: St. Isaac's Square Weather: Warm & sunny When I got back to the hotel yesterday the rest of the choir had arrived and was in the process of checking in. They all seemed rather shell-shocked, understandable since after an overnight flight to Helsinki they'd been bundled into buses for a nine hour drive to St. Petersburg. I joined the group for a late dinner. After a quick walk over to the Monument to the Glorious Defenders of Leningrad (opposite the hotel) we turned in. This morning we piled onto the buses after breakfast and are touring the city. We stopped for "10 minutes" outside St. Isaac's Cathedral... Up to 25 minutes so far.
